Celebrating the Joy of Reading and the Power of Imagination!
Rogationist Academy enthusiastically observed Reading Day 2026 on 19 June 2026 under the inspiring theme “Read. Reflect. Rise.”, fostering a love for reading and encouraging students to discover the transformative power of books.
The celebration was graced by Ms. Khyrunnisa A., renowned children’s writer, whose presence added great significance to the occasion. The programme began with a special Reading Day Pledge, reaffirming the students’ commitment to cultivating the habit of reading and lifelong learning.
A highlight of the celebration was the vibrant Character Parade, where students brought to life beloved literary characters from English, Malayalam, and Hindi literature. Through their creative costumes and confident presentations, they showcased the richness and diversity of stories that continue to inspire generations of readers.
Students also presented a meaningful Reading Day Special Skit, emphasizing the importance of reading in shaping knowledge, imagination, creativity, and character. The performance effectively conveyed how books open doors to new ideas, perspectives, and opportunities.
