Rogationist Academy proudly observed World Environment Day 2026, inspiring young minds to become responsible stewards of our planet and champions of a cleaner, greener future.
As part of the celebration, students took to the stage with a powerful musical drama celebrating the Environment Day theme.
Through song, dance, and action, they brought to life nature’s signals on climate change and showed how small actions—like growing microgreens, saving water, and planting trees—can create big change.
They also participated in an engaging and informative session on Microgreen Farming, led by Ms. Aswathy P. Krishnan, Hydroponic and Microgreen Farming Specialist. Through an interactive talk and live demonstration, students gained valuable insights into sustainable farming practices, the nutritional benefits of microgreens, and innovative ways to contribute to environmental conservation.
The programme encouraged students to think critically about climate action and embrace eco-friendly practices in their daily lives, reinforcing the message that every small step can make a big difference.
