Rogationist Academy Celebrates Annual Sports Day

Sports is the celebration of the human spirit and youth, it not only inspires young minds. but also teaches good values and ethics to students. Rogationist Academy school, celebrated its annual sport day 2022, on 8th December 2022 amidst great enthusiasm and amusement. The chief guest invited to the event was Mrs. PC. Thulasi, the one and only Keralite who became the National Champion in. women’s Badminton singles. Rev. Father Devassy Pynadath, Principal presided over the event. Rev. Fr. Varghese Panickassery, manager of Rogationist Academy, Rev Fr. Joe Maria, Fr. Brizio Rogationist Faculty members, members of Students Council, teachers and students were present to witness the grand event.
The day started off with the lovely prayer song by the school choir to pay salutation to the Lord Almighty. The principal greeted guests and dignitaries with flowers and formal greetings. The event opened with a glorious and well-synchronized March past with a contingent of three houses that leaves viewers speechless. The event had its grand opening with the boisting of the School Flag by Rev fathers, followed by oath taking.

Our chief guest lighted the Olympic torch and announced the meet open She I gave a molivational speech in which she advised everyone to participate in the field of sports. The most entertaining and Pascinating point of the event was the aerobic dance which sprinkled on the field an extravaganza of energy and vibrance.

Then the sports events started athletic where the first event students started lo do so mtrs 100mtr races. Then there was long jump, standing broad jump, shot put and relay race for the students of all sections. The award ceremony came after all these events-medals, trophies and certificates were awarded to the achievers of the various events. The Ruby House was awarded for the overall Best House in sports events.

At the closing ceremony, the school flag was handed over to the principal. The blazing flame that hit the retreat and was then put to rest. It was a day filled with sportmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.
